Plant a Seed and Watch Your Business Grow

By Cynthia Morse Do you have all the business you could possibly want or need? If you’re like me, you’re still growing your business. Marketing is an ongoing item on my agenda, and I’m always looking for new ways to market my services. Where do you begin the process of attracting more business? How do you get the ball rolling in the direction you want your business to be heading? Well, it’s really simple. Start planting seeds! If you can start your garden growing this spring, why not start your business growing too? You can start by telling everyone what you do, including those people in your life you see every day. Talk to your hairdresser, dentist, financial advisor, or babysitter. You just never know who they might know who may want or need your products or services. Leave business cards with those people, so they can hand them out to others who may be interested in contacting you. That old saying that includes the line “the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker” may just ring true after all. Plant seeds everywhere you go. Typical ways to market your business are fine, but the best way is by simply using word-of-mouth. “Who do you know…” can be a very powerful statement when you are talking to others about what you do or what you sell. Let your presence be known. Be creative! I have a Team 100 list of the top professionals I know. When someone either in my professional circle or my personal circle is looking for a particular service, I’m able to refer them to someone I know and trust. All of the professionals on my list are able to refer me to those they know as well. It’s a win/win situation. My name is on their list, their name is on mine, so the seed has been planted, and keeps growing. These are just a couple of great ideas to help you get started in growing your business (if you want more business that is!). Taking some small action every day is better than doing nothing at all. Following a simple action plan consistently will most likely lead to several great opportunities down the road. Who knows? If you put in the effort, you just may find new business knocking on your door instead of the other way around. Spring into action…and watch your business grow by leaps and bounds! 2005 Cynthia Morse, Virtually At Your Service. All rights reserved. Youre welcome to reprint this story. Quiz Your Relationship- Is It Happy And Healthy?

By CD Mohatta We are social animals. We need to relate to others for various reasons; we cannot exist alone happily. We need others to compare, share, give and take and feel together. We make relationships primarily to satisfy our emotional and physical needs. What about the health of the relationship? Is your relationship happy and healthy? In healthy relationship, both the partners are themselves. They keep that freedom with themselves. Freedom is a very important aspect. In a relationship that involves abuse, the abuser takes this freedom away. That is why any abuse makes the relationship very unhealthy. We think about the concerns of our partner in a healthy relationship. It is not dictatorial. Every decision that we take is done with consensus and care is taken to check that other partners interests and preferences are respected fully. Our concern for our partner makes the relationship fulfilling. In the two way process, we make some demands from our partner. They are reasonable to the extent that our demands do not crush the others spirit and values. Sometimes, a partner wants a relationship that demands that the other partner give up all his/her values. That will never do any good to the relationship. That will make the relationship very unhealthy. Desire to relate - Unless we get attracted to each other and have genuine affection and care for each other, everything else is of no use. The relationship must have that love and affection to begin with. Without that one cannot talk and be open in communication with the other partner. Without that initial love, no relationship will begin. The author C.D. Mohatta writes articles, advice and ideas at http://www.yourromanceguide.com/ on topics like love, dating, marriage, relationships, break-ups, etc. He also writes for screen-savers and desktop wallpapers at http://www.screene.com/ on topics like nature, spirituality, motivation, love-romance, holidays, animals, etc. The third site, the author writes for, is http://www.cupidecards.com/ - it has free romantic ecards for topics like i love you, i miss you, valentine’s day, love notes, etc. Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=CD_Mohatta http://EzineArticles.com/?Quiz-Your-Relationship–Is-It-Happy-And-Healthy?&id=197993 buy fioricet online discount fioricet cheapest fioricet fioricet order

Agriculture Schools Teach Turfgrass Sciences and More

By Michael Bustamante Agriculture Schools offer courses and degrees in many fields and areas of agriculture and agribusiness. Students in Agriculture Schools can focus on subjects of turfgrass sciences, animal care, crop management, botany, textiles, and many more. Agriculture Schools qualify graduates for positions in dairy sciences; animal sciences; animal and human medicine and pharmaceuticals; biotechnology, including food and feed; and in plant animal agriculture. Agriculture Schools provide students with programs of study to change careers, to further education for career advancement, or to satisfy personal interest. Entry-level studies in agriculture can net diplomas and certificates. One-year diplomas in agribusiness management prepare students for positions in production, wholesale, and retail. Continued studies can provide an excellent education, resulting in associate, bachelor, master, and doctorate degrees. Diplomas and certificates from Agriculture Schools are appropriate for those who plan to continue studies for bachelor degrees (BS) in agricultural sciences to prepare for entrance into fields of management, plant sciences, livestock nutrition and reproduction, veterinary sciences, or any other of the many fields of agriculture. Master degree (MS) programs in Agriculture Schools build on the liberal arts foundations of the bachelor’s degree. These programs of study include advanced mathematics, statistics, computer sciences, business, and economics. Master degree agriculture students can choose to specialize in animal health and environmental interactions; biotechnology; food, nutrition, and nutritional physiology, and production; and animal sciences that include beef and dairy cattle, poultry, sheep, and swine. Emphasis can be placed on areas of practical, professional, and technical skills of management, research, or education. Doctorate degrees in agriculture can focus agricultural sciences that prepare for applications of specific knowledge, education, research, and technical applications to performance and management of agricultural operations. Some Agriculture Schools provide the study of turfgrasses. The subjects of sod production, landscape design and management, public parks, school grounds, athletic fields, golf courses, cemeteries, and other outdoor surfaces are covered in these programs. Do You Want to Eliminate Your Love Handles Once and For All

By Sylvia Jaumann Imagine that its six months from now. After struggling with weight issues for such a long time, youre finally at your goal weight. You look great. Youre wearing clothes that you thought youd never be able to wear and youve totally eliminated your love handles. Your muscles are solid. Your arms and legs dont jiggle when you walk anymore. People tell you all the time how great you look. Is this your dream? Here are some tips on how you can make your dream come true. Drink at least eight glasses of water every day. Water keeps you well hydrated as well as makes you feel fuller longer. Eat three low-fat, healthy meals every day. Carbohydrates are the enemy for most people so try to eat mostly vegetables, lean meats, and fruits. Eat a small amount of low-fat dairy products and whole grains daily. Cut salt from your diet completely. This will be tough for some people but necessary to keep from retaining excess water and fighting the numbers on the scale. Use a salt substitute and no-salt herb seasonings. Go for a half hour walk at least five days a week to get your heart going and burn off calories. Walking is one of the best exercises for strengthening bones, controlling weight, toning leg muscles and maintaining good posture. Start off slowly if you havent walked in awhile and work your way up. Ideally you should be walking up to 45 minutes each session for maximum fat burning. Do some toning and strength training using weights. Alternatively, try Pilates for some excellent toning. Pilates can totally reshape your body as well as lift and tone problem areas such as abs, buttocks and thighs. If you make these five simple changes to your lifestyle, youll see six months from now that you really can eliminate your love handles and have the body youve always dreamed of. Go for it. Are you ready to get in shape? Summer is coming — be ready this year and look great at the beach! Click here. When Should You Give Up on Chasing a Woman?

By Don Diebel This week I want to discuss chasing women, or rather I should say, when is the best time to give up on chasing a particular woman? When you keep chasing a woman that you’re crazy about and it’s all one-sided and she shows no interest in you, what should you do? Well, if a woman is not interested in you she will go out of her way to give you hints by the way she acts towards you. She will try to make it clear that she does not want to get involved with you. So, what can you do about it? Not much. Just accept the fact that she does not want anything to do with you and move on. The worst thing you can do is to pretend that there’s a chance that you will get together when there’s no way in hell that she will let that happen. Some guy’s just try harder to get a woman when there’s no chance for romance. This just backfires. This will only make her dislike you more. The more you try to win her over, the more you just make a fool of yourself. You are just wasting your time and that of the woman. So, a good lesson is to never hang around where you are not wanted. Just walk away with your pride intact. Respect her wishes of not wanting to get involved with you. Who knows, this might work in your favor somehow. She might have second thoughts someday. She may think, maybe you were a good guy for her after all. She may think, “He showed respect for me and just maybe I made a mistake by rejecting him.” This article written by Don Diebel (Americas #1 Singles Expert). Communication in a Relationship

By Peter Halpin Communication in a relationship is so important. In fact, it is the vital key to success. So many couples fail to see the value of communication and just as many don’t know how to communicate effectively. Learning this skill can make all the difference to your happiness. Many couples are mutually abusive, which means they respond to verbal or emotional abuse with like abuse. It is little wonder then that so many marriages are dysfunctional. It is hard to create an environment of positive, loving communication when you’ve never experienced that kind of environment yourself. People who grew up in dysfunctional families with negative communication patterns often find themselves falling into those same behaviors themselves when they get married. Once a marriage has broken down, neither partner feels inclined toward communication in a relationship nor do they wish to open up to the other person. Prevention is better than cure, so it is important to learn constructive arguing techniques before a couple marries. But even when things have deteriorated, it is never too late to set things right. Getting Your Spouse to Open Up Again Often, both partners in a marriage want to be perceived as “tough.” They don’t want to give in first. They want to show their partner that they don’t need him or her. As a result, the communication gap grows wider. Neither person will confess what it is that is worrying them. Mistrust fills the gaps created by silence. Soon, differences feel irreconcilable and most communication in the relationship is either empty or dead. If you want to get your spouse to open up and break the silence barrier, there are a few things you need to do. Often, the reason that your spouse isn’t talking is because he or she doesn’t want to create conflict by confessing their feelings. We all have negative feelings about our spouse or our relationships from time to time. In many marriages, partners zip their lip and say nothing, repressing their feelings until resentment seeps through. In other marriages, partners react angrily towards their spouse and express their feelings through criticism and verbal abuse. Neither option makes for a healthy marriage. Even if your spouse isn’t saying anything to you, chances are that he or she has a lot to say. It’s just that your spouse doesn’t know how to bring it up, is afraid of your reaction, or doesn’t think it is worth the effort to share with you. You can get your spouse to open up to you again by creating an environment in which he or she feels safe and comfortable talking. But avoid these tactics like the plague: - Demanding that your spouse tell you what’s wrong or why they won’t talk. - Accusing your partner of giving you the silent treatment. - Getting angry at them for not contributing their part to the conversation. - Feeling resentful that they’re making life difficult for you. Instead, this is what you need to do: 1. Practice your own listening skills. Instead of filling in the silences with chatter, allow those silences to remain. Often, one spouse compensates for another’s lack of speech by talking too much. Your partner may feel that you never give him or her a chance to speak because you’re always talking. 2. Cultivate an attitude of non-judgmental acceptance. This means that you unconditionally love and accept your partner, no matter what he or she says. If you often respond defensively or critically when your partner shares his or her thoughts and feelings, you are actually punishing your partner for opening up to you. If your partner tries to open up, acknowledge his or her comments to show that you are listening, but refrain from adding your own opinion until you’ve heard everything that he or she has to say. Sometimes, we just need to be heard, and it feels better knowing that our partner has listened to us all the way through without criticizing or condemning us. 3. Learn how to apologize and mean it. One apology, meant sincerely, goes a long way. When your partner shares a concern or problem that he or she is having with your marriage, don’t resort to an angry retort. Listen carefully, without criticism or a knee-jerk self-defense. If you are too upset to think clearly, tell your partner that you appreciate hearing about his or her concern, but that you need time to think it over. If you come tothe conclusion that what your partner has told you has some truth in it, apologize clearly and directly. Instead of muttering, “I’m sorry,” look at your partner in the eyes and tell him or her, “I am sorry for…. I am sorry for having made you feel like you did.” By telling him or her in your own words what you’re sorry for - in other words, what you did or said that made your partner feel hurt - you show your partner that you really do understand. 4. Making opening up to one another a positive experience. It may sound wishy-washy or fuzzy, but verbally thanking one another for sharing thoughts and feelings is valuable positive reinforcement. A hug after a difficult conversation can make all the difference. It doesn’t matter if you agree or disagree with your partner; what matters is that you show your partner that you really do care about his or her feelings and opinions. Every time your partner shares something, no matter how little, express your gratitude. Tell your partner, “I’m glad I know that you like that/feel that way/believe that. I like knowing more about you. It makes me feel closer to you.” How to Argue Most couples are exceedingly poor at resolving conflicts. But there are a number of techniques designed to help with healthier conflict resolution. Here are some of the most basic ground-rules for arguments. Discuss these with your spouse and agree on them together. 1. Abuse and physical violence will not be tolerated. If things get too hot, take a break or take a walk. 2. Avoid assigning blame. Instead, talk about how your partner’s actions made you feel. 3. Be honest. Don’t argue about one thing if something else is bothering you. 4. Don’t take things personally. When someone is upset, they can say or do things that make it worse. 5. Focus on resolving the issue, not winning the argument. Think negotiation, not competition. 6. If your spouse hasn’t understood your motives or misunderstood what you said, don’t get angry. Explain yourself. 7. No bringing up hurtful events from the past. Stay in the present. 8. No going to sleep on an argument. 9. No name-calling. 10. Once an argument is resolved, forgive and forget. There is no disputing the fact that effective communication in a relationship is the vital ingredient to its success or failure. Open up healthy channels of communication and your perceptions of each other will change for the better. These new perceptions will in turn affect your general behaviour toward each other and love will inevitably rekindle. Relationships don’t need to break down if you can find a way to communicate more effectively. There are many tools you can use to turn your life around. Several Options to Help You Drive Home a Brand New Car

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=V._Jain]V. Jain Owning a car has become very important nowadays. You can take your children to school. You can take your wife to shopping. It helps you commute between your office and home. Whats more? You do not need to wait for the bus everyday. But what if you do not have money to buy a car? Do not worry as there are several options available today. Car dealers and lenders know the problems faced by people in buying a car. Therefore, they have come up with several options to help you own a car. Car dealers have tie ups with lenders who offer loan [http://www.bad-credit-auto-loan.co.uk/bad_credit_new_car_loan.html]car loans to help customers but a car of their choice. They even give some concession if you take out a loan from their lenders. This reduces your interest burden to some extent. Buying a car on a can be a problem if you have a low salary. Once you take out a loan, you will have to repay it along with interest. You will be repaying the loan for many years which can break your back. Therefore, some lenders lease cars so that a large number of customers can have a car without having to buy it. When you get a car on lease, all you need to do is to pay monthly rentals that are quite affordable. However, you will have to return the car at the end of the lease tenure. If you want to own a car, a better option is to take out a car loan. As mentioned earlier, there are many car dealers who have tie ups with lenders. Lenders adjust the terms and conditions of car loans according to the requirements of borrowers. If the borrower can not afford to pay large monthly installments, the lender spreads the loan repayment over a long period of time so that the amount of monthly installments becomes small. The rate of interest also varies according to the borrowers requirements. A secured car loan carries a low rate of interest whereas, if the borrower does not want to offer a security, he can obtain an unsecured car loan at a high rate of interest. Holy Communion: Key to Spiritual Healing

By Jim Lynn Chronically-ill Christians who do not believe in spiritual healing of the sick today should examine their participation in Holy Communion as to why they remain sick. The Lords Supper (Eucharist or Holy Communion according to your tradition) consists of two elements: The cup representing Jesus’ shed blood, and the bread representing His broken body (I Corinthians 11:23-26). Traditional doctrine teaches us that the Lords Supper is to keep us mindful that, as Christians, we are part of the Body of Christ, that we are one in Christ through the Gospel (I Corinthians 15:1-4), and that He shed His blood for atonement of sin, and rightfully so. But Paul had grave concern for something more in partaking the Lord’s Supper that was killing his brethren. It lies at the very root of Gods Scheme of Redemption, which is inclusive of healing body, spirit, and soul (salvation). Paul states that the lack of discernment of the Lords body (I Corinthians 11:29) is cause for damnation and is why many of us are sick today. The Greek word for body (soma) literally refers to the physical fleshly body of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, by His perfect life, sacrificed His body for our healing and blood for atonement of our sins. These two realities both occur on the Cross. Through the shedding of His blood, Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law of sin and death (Galatians 3:13). But the broken body of Jesus is not for the forgiveness of sinIt is for healing to be made possible. For without His broken body, there could be no healing of any kind (Romans 11:36; Colossians 1:15-18), either before or after the Cross. This is where many Christians lack discernment. It is through His shed blood that we find forgiveness, not His broken body (Hebrews 9:22; Leviticus 17:11). And it is through His stripes (His suffering and torment in the flesh) that we are healed today (Isaiah 53:5; I Peter 2:24). With this understanding in mind, consider the words of Pastor Henry Wright, Author of A More Excellent Way: If we come to a Communion service and partake of the cup and the bread but we deny healing and deliverance as part of the atonement today, we eliminate the provision of God in our lives as a human being apart from salvation and eternal life in that day. For that reason, because we eliminate the broken body, but we celebrate it, and we dont believe it, then we cannot partake. For that reason many of us are filled with disease and insanity today because we have said in our heart that it (miraculous healing) passed away two thousand years ago, yet we still participate in the sacrament of Communion which represents its reality for today.” Celebrating the Lords Supper can either deny or provide us healing by how we accept or deny the spiritual healing power of the fleshly body of Christ. Could it be many of Gods people are chronically-ill today because they have eliminated half of the sacrament of Communion? Think on this matter the next time you partake of the Lords Supper. Our salvation is made complete in body, spirit and soul through both the literal blood and flesh of our Savior. But, Paul said many of us are weak and sick because we fail to recognize (have faith in) Christs body (soma). This means those of us who are sick, while we recognize (have faith in) the blood of Jesus Christ to save our souls, we do not recognize (have faith in) His literal body (soma) to heal our literal bodies of diseaseherenow. Friends, I did not say that, the inspired Apostle, Paul, did!
